T2 Trainspotting

T2 Trainspotting follows the story of the original cast from the 1996 cult classic "Trainspotting". T2 was highly anticipated by fans but was it worth waiting 20 years for the sequel? No, but then again that doesn't detract from the fact that this was a great movie with plenty of action. I went into this with low expectations and therefore I really enjoyed it.

The best parts of the film involved the character Begbie (Robert Carlyle) who hasn't changed a bit in 20 years. I thought the ending where Begbie was on the hunt for Renton started off great but was a bit of a let-down in the end.

High recommended. Would watch again.

considering that the entire movie is filmed from within a 6 foot wooden box, director Rodrigo Cortes did a great job of making a film that has a constantly developing plot. Ryan Reynolds' performance is convincing too.

I would recommend checking this movie out.

Doctor Strange

Doctor strange is a mix of medieval wizardry with a modern quantum twists. The story is great and the acting is good all around, especially Cumberbatch. While the plot is of an action movie the script writers sprinkled in a few humorous scenes to add to the movies dynamic story which worked really well.

One of the highlights is the CGI (I am not usually a fan of in films) but in Doctor Strange it's awesome, especially when Strange travels though the multiverse.

Highly recommended.
